Subject: Certification of Candidates for the 2011 ElectionThe Election Committee wishes
to inform the Membership and Candidates that the following have been certified to seek the positions indicated
for the 2011 Election.
Effective upon the Closing Date of February 15th, the members of the Election Committee have reviewed all
letters, documents, etc. received from each Candidate for Office in the forthcoming election in the Korean
War Veterans Association. It is our opinion that all of the requirements have been met as listed in the
Association’s By-Laws, Procedure Manual and as published in The Graybeards.
The names have been submitted to the Secretary, the Webmaster & the editor of The
Graybeards for the printing of the ballots. The Committee has submitted the names in alphabetical order
for each position.
Please pass the word to all members, as it will help in getting more members to submit their Ballots this
year.
There was one additional submission for 2nd Vice President. Unfortunately the submission was incomplete.
My three phone calls failed to get a complete second submission & the candidate was notified that the
application was not accepted.
