| The Korea War Weapon Collection featured in the current fund raising campaign was shown at the
conclusion of the May 12-13 Convention of the Department of Florida in Gainesville. Shown examining the
weapons are Paul Russell (M1 Carbine), Lake County Chapter 169, Bob Balzer (M1 Rifle), Central Florida
Chapter 153, 2d VP of the Department of Florida and Lou Dechert (45 Pistol), KWVA National President.
Drawing for the collection (or $3000 cash) has been scheduled to take place Saturday, June 17th, 1145hrs, at
the National Headquarters, Building 1119, 1119 15th Street, Camp Beauregard, Pineville, Louisiana. Final
delivery place and date will be settled after the winner complies with applicable firearms laws in the event
that the winner elects to take delivery of the weapons rather than the $3000 cash. The Fund Raising Task
Force reemphasizes that there is still time to contribute to the project and obtain chances to win the
weapons collection.
