White House Commission National Moment of Remembrance

The White House Commission on the National Moment of Remembrance asks all Americans to observe the National Moment of Remembrance on Memorial Day, Monday, May 30, 2005 at 3:00 p.m. local time (duration: one minute). The Moment does not replace traditional Memorial Day observances. Rather, it is intended to serve as a simple, yet powerful reminder of the real reason we observe Memorial Day to honor those who died in service to our Nation.
