National Planning Calendar Being Developed.A KWVA National Planning Calendar is being developed that will soon be available for access on the KWVA web site by Department and Chapter Presidents, as well as KWVA Board of Directors and Key Staff. It is requested that you provide future dates and summary details of special functions [other than regular chapter meetings] that would be of interest and guidance to other KWVA Administrators as they carry out their functions for the good of KWVA. Activities such as Bridge, Highway, Park and Memorial Dedications; Department Conventions and Department Executive Council Meetings; Memorial Day, Veterans Day, Independence Day and other Special Days recognizing veterans that are scheduled for large area ceremonies, are examples of the types of activities that can be included. For correlation, provide this information to: Webmaster Jim Doppelhammer, by way of email [ webmaster@kwva.org ] and a copy to KWVA Secretary Bill Hutton [ BillHutton@kwva.org ]. You are reminded that we have a web page for all memorials by State and Country and invite new material all the time. Many memorials, memorial highways, memorial bridges, and memorial parks are not presently included. Pictures and descriptions of Memorials not included, that have already been constructed and/or dedicated, are to be sent to the Webmaster for review and posting.
