Korea Veterans Association Elects New Leadership

On April 21, 2006, the scheduled election of a successor to General Lee, who was retiring, chose Major General (Retired) Park Seh-jik as the new President of the KVA.

General Park was a career ROK Army officer, and is a veteran of the Korean and Vietnam Wars. His civilian record is as distinguished as the one which he earned in the Army, including Chairman of the 1988 Seoul Olympic Games, Mayor of Seoul Metropolitan City, Member of the National Assembly, and Minister of Government Administration, among many other achievements.

The Korean War Veterans Association of the USA wishes General Park a successful term as the fraternal world leader of all Korea and Korea Service veterans of all the Nations.
