KWVA Presidential Incident Report:

Some have been asking about an incident involving me on Memorial Day in Washington, D.C.

The heat got to me, even though I had been drinking a lot of water.  It was a first time event for me to pass out, along with several others who also could not stand the heat.

Two IVs later and a cooling off period, I was back to normal. Those around me said I laid down on the job!

Getting older sure does crimp ones style.  Thank you for your concern.

SPECIAL ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING ANNOUNCEMENT:

Don't forget to make your hotel reservations for our Annual Membership Meeting July 24-27 NOW. I have been informed that a couple of other groups are making reservations at our same hotel, so if we run over our blocked-out rooms, you may not get a room at the hotel.  Rooms are going fast, please do not delay!
