On July 1st, 2005, Maine Governor John Baldacci signed into law the Nation’s first legislation providing state license plates with depictions of the KDSM to veterans applying for the plates. This action is one of several which Korean War Veterans Association (KWVA) members have advanced through to completed action in The Pine Tree State. Several members of KWVA Chapters 79 and 299 attended the ceremony.
