Fellow veterans and friends: The Revisit Korea Program, subsidized by the ROK government and
administered by the Korean Veterans Association (KVA) Seoul, is alive and well! The following has been
announced by KVA Seoul:
- The program will continue in 2006. (It was first formed in 1975 by the ROK government to acknowledge
and thank ALL Korean War Veterans for the sacrifices made in the name of Freedom, for both their people
and their country.)
- The eligibility has been extended. It is now: Having served in Korea or the surrounding waters, to
include air flights, from 25 June 1950 to 15 October 1954.
- Request has been made to the ROK government to INCREASE the funding for the program which will result
in more quotas for 2006.
Since the Revisit Korea Program is always over subscribed, we are recommending that you get your
application for a 2006 quota in the mail soon. Applications are contained in The Graybeards magazine.
If you need more information, please call us at 800-722-9501 or at 703-212-0695.
REMINDER: If you have gone on an official Revisit Korea program before, you are not eligible to go again.
This is to ensure that those who have not had the opportunity, get first choice.
We receive the exact quota dates around the first of February. When received, we mail out to those
ALREADY REGISTERED who get the first opportunity to request a specific date. Quotes and tours in 2005 were
in May, June, September and November.
Sincerely and fraternally,
Warren Wiedhahn
