Current JPAC Operations in South Korea

South Korea operations consists of an excavation team and an investigation team. The excavation team has four major sites. Their sites are located in the Seoul/ DMZ and Naktong Bulge (South below Taegu) areas. The investigation team is operating on the east coast at Kangnung and south in the area of the Naktong Bulge where there are some 69 FSC’s between Taegu and Hill 209. See below maps of the excavation and investigation teams operational areas.
